Following a number of outlandish accusations and one extremely one-sided ‘documentary,’ the hacker collective ‘Anonymous’ has apparently emerged to investigate the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

According to a video circulated on Facebook, the infamous ‘hacktavist’ group has become concerned with the spate of recent allegations, revealing its intent to finally put to bed any doubt to BAYC’s supposed ties to racism, Nazism and occultism. Therefore, it has embarked on a long and arduous journey to find out the truth.

During the unnecessarily dramatic film, the masked narrator outlines a research plan that will likely take a number of months. The collective will release regular updates regarding the information uncovered through their efforts.

Several commentators within the Twitter sphere have shed doubt on the video’s authenticity however, with some drawing comparisons of the style of the video with Ryder Ripps’ own Bored Ape documentary. The very man currently the subject of an ongoing slander lawsuit due to his alleged defamation of the parent company, Yuga Labs.

Regardless of what happens, its once again time to warm up the popcorn for the neutrals in the room. So, sit back, put the feet up and get ready for a new round of high-drama within the NFT sphere.
