The official announcement comes after several collaborations between DapperLabs and Ticketmaster. The highest profile of which, saw 70k NFT ticket stubs distributed to attendees of Super Bowl LVI. A promotion so successful, the NFL has chosen to introduce the scheme into the latest season.

A network specifically chosen due to its custom-built infrastructure designed to handle the rigors of large scale NFT distribution while keeping transactions efficient enough to use as little energy as possible. In fact, according to DapperLabs, each transaction uses roughly the same amount of energy as a social media post.
